Manfred Rüdiger, PhD - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Manfred Rüdiger is Chief Executive Officer of Kiadis Pharma. Prior to joining Kiadis Pharma, Dr. Manfred Rüdiger was CSO and acting CEO of Cardion AG (Düsseldorf, Germany), CEO of Igeneon AG (Vienna, Austria), COO of the NASDAQ-listed Aphton Corporation (Philadelphia, US) and lastly CEO of t2cure GmbH (Frankfurt, Germany). Dr. Manfred Rüdiger is currently also a Venture Partner in the Munich Office of LSP and Executive Director at Affectis Pharmaceutical and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of 4SC AG. Dr. Manfred Rüdiger holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen, Germany and worked at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen, and at the Technical University of Braunschweig before he joined the industry.
Robbert van Heekeren - Chief Financial Officer
Robbert van Heekeren is Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Kiadis Pharma he was Executive Director, Head Global Finance & Control at Organon. He worked for Organon for more than 10 years in international management positions. Robbert van Heekeren holds a Masters degree in Economics from Tilburg University, The Netherlands and a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.
Edwin Wagena, PhD - VP Clinical Development
Dr. Edwin Wagena is Vice President Clinical Development. Prior to joining Kiadis Pharma Dr. Edwin Wagena worked for over 10 years in designing, conducting and managing clinical trials and clinical development programs for Solvay Pharmaceuticals and Astellas Pharma. Dr. Edwin Wagena obtained his PhD at Maastricht University, The Netherlands focussing on clinical epidemiological research.
Rob Dekker - VP CMC
Rob Dekker is Vice President CMC. Before joining Kiadis Pharma, Rob Dekker worked in GMP operations management at Octoplus and Biogen Idec after obtaining his manufacturing and process development experience at DSM Biologics. Rob Dekker has over 15 years of experience in biotech operations and holds a Masters degree in Medical Biology from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Patrick Stragier - VP Production
Patrick Stragier is a biochemist with over 20 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He gained his technical and international managerial expertise at Solvay, DSM-Biologics and Genzyme. During seven years, he worked as Managing Director at Lonza Verviers, Belgium. In September 2009, Patrick started his own consulting company. Besides his role of Vice President Manufacturing at Kiadis, Patrick is the COO of Masthercell, a Belgian based cell therapy contract manufacturing organization.
Margot Hoppe - General Counsel & Corp. Secretary
Margot Hoppe is General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate legal affairs and worked for various biotechnology companies including Gist-Brocades and DSM. Margot Hoppe has a Masters degree in Law and Political Science from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
