ICT Officer

Kiadis Pharma manufactures personalized cell-based medicinal products for the treatment of blood cancers and inherited blood disorders. Essentially, its ATMPs consist of donor T-cells that are able to fight infections, but do no longer attack cells of the patients.

Due to the rapid growth of the company we are looking for an ICT Officer with an education in Computer Science at HBO level. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a good understanding of all aspects of ICT, and who understands the security issues and challenges of a pharmaceutical IT environment subject to government regulations. You will report to the Director Finance & IT.

Primarily, the candidate will be responsible for the normal operation of all hardware including the on-premise file servers, email server and backup servers, client computers and peripheral and mobile devices. The candidate will also be responsible for user access, managing software licenses, installing and configuring new hardware, and mobile and VoIP telecommunications solutions. Drafting policies, procedures and user instructions for the use of ICT equipment are also part of this new role. The candidate will have an active role in implementing, maintaining and supporting ICT systems, solutions and services across the organization, for example setting up a corporate intranet.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in an international environment. Good knowledge of Windows 2012R2 & 2008R2, Microsoft Exchange 2013, virtualization (VMware) and Windows 10, but as well general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. The candidate is familiar with hardware like NAS, SAN, routers, switches, and firewalls. The candidate has a hands-on approach and is an excellent team player and communicator with a strong sense for how to support the organization. Good mastering of English language, both written and spoken is a prerequisite.

Senior Scientist Bioassay Development

Kiadis Pharma manufactures personalized cell-based medicinal products for the treatment of blood cancers and inherited blood disorders. Essentially, its ATMPs consist of donor T-cells that are able to fight infections, but do no longer attack cells of the patients.

We are looking for an experienced senior scientist for the Analytical Development and Quality Control department with an education in cell biology, immunology, hematology, or related fields.
The ideal candidate has a PhD and at least 3 years industry experience in assay development. Experience in working with primary cells as well as immunological techniques is required, as is experience with development and validation of biological assays in a pharma or biotech setting. Hands-on experience with flow cytometry is a must.

The senior scientist will supervise and guide efforts to optimize and validate cell-based assays for our immunotherapeutic products. This will require prior experience with analytical guidelines and relevant GMP regulations. He/she will be involved in method transfers, general laboratory qualifications, such as IOPQs, and be responsible for optimizing statistical approaches for development and quality control.
The candidate is a good team player with strong communication skills, is used to working in a matrix organization and is quality-driven.

You will be joining a team of experienced scientists and technicians working on the development of personalized cell based-medicinal products. The lab team is located at the Amsterdam Science Park. You will report to the Director Analytics and Validation.

Technician Bioassay Development and QC

Kiadis Pharma manufactures personalized cell-based medicinal products for the treatment of blood cancers and inherited blood disorders. Essentially, its ATMPs consist of donor T-cells that are able to fight infections, but do no longer attack cells of the patients.

We are looking for an experienced technician for the Analytical Development and Quality Control department with an education in cell biology, immunology, hematology, or related fields.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a cell biology/immunology/hematology laboratory environment within the pharmaceutical / biotech industry. Experience in working with primary cells as well as immunological techniques is required. Hands-on experience with flow cytometry would be highly beneficial. Experience and affinity with QC testing under GMP according to standard operating procedures, assay development or assay validations would be a plus.

The technician will independently perform and analyze cell based assays, mainly by flow cytometry and ELISA on Kiadis Pharma’s cell based medicinal products. He/she will be involved in the development/improvement of bioanalytical methods in close collaboration with scientists, method validations under GMP and will support process development. The candidate is a good team player with strong communication skills who will ensure a high level of quality and delivers according to timelines.
